The Academy side welcomed back Antonio Din Chin from his holiday in Italy with a start, first choice right back Callum Barrow dropped to the bench and the talented Declan Lewis didn't travel with the squad through injury

The game got underway and with the run of play a free kick was crossed in to hit the Mossley player Mohammed Ali who turned it into his own net.

The Academy got back on level terms not long after when Beckham Adelaje dribbled his way through a crowd of Sutton players and placed the ball home 1-1.

A pass was given by a Mossley player which resulted in a Sutton free kick where they took their chance, Stanley scoring straight from the free kick 2-1 Sutton.

Sutton made it 3-1 not long before half time when the sub was only on the pitch for 1 mine ute and with his first touch Cleary-Milligan scored to make it 3-1 to the home side

Second half started and Mossley were the brighter team with long range efforts tipped wide from the keeper from good efforts by Mohammed Ali and captain Curtis Norris.

It just didn't seem like Mossley's day but then Adelaje came up with a beautiful strike from 25 yards out off the post and in 3-2.

Mossley then payed for a mistake as another free kick was given away and the ball was crossed in and the tall Sutton striker met the ball to make it 4-2.

A great cross from Adam El Barnossi-Iveson found the head of Din Chin to make it 4-3, game on with not long left Mossley pushed for another but wasn't enough as Sutton attacked the Mossley half and when Cleary-Milligan was one on one with the Keeper he chipped it over his head to make it 5-3 and finish the game.
